Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

 

Cooke logoThe Jack Kent Cooke Foundation provides scholarships and grants to students in grades seven through graduate school.  Their goal is “to help exceptionally promising students reach their full potential through education”.  The Foundation focuses on students in financial need whose parental income is $95,000 or less.  They administer the following programs:  Young Scholars, College Scholarship Program, Undergrad Transfer Scholarships, Graduate Arts Awards and Dissertation Fellowship Awards. Does it really matter which standardized test you take?  That depends on you and your learning style.  Having grown up on the East coast I took the SAT.  Moving to the Midwest, the ACT is the preferred test.   Colleges will accept either.   If you are a good test taker, it probably doesn’t matter which test you take.
